Eastar Jet launches scheduled charter flight to Singapore from Busan on 16 January 2019

Easter Jet, one of South Korea's private airlines, launches its first scheduled charter flight to Singapore from Busan on 16 January 2019 (Wednesday) using its 737 MAX 8 aircraft under the flight codes ZE9611/ZE9612. It is the second Korean LCC to launch charter flights to Singapore after Air Busan. 

Eastar Jet flies on Wednesdays, Thursdays and weekends to Singapore and returns to Busan on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays to Busan and these will continue until 7 February 2019 only. The flight schedules are as follows:-

On Wednesdays, flight ZE9611 departs from Busan for Singapore at 10.35 pm, arrives in Singapore at 3.25 am before leaving Singapore for Busan at 4.25 am and touching down in Busan at 11.05 am on Thursdays under flight ZE9612.

On Thursdays and Sundays, flight ZE9611 leaves Busan for Singapore at 10.05 am, touches down in Singapore at 3.25 am before departing from Singapore under flight ZE9612 for Busan at 5.05 am and arriving in Busan at 12.05 pm on Fridays and Mondays.

On Saturdays, flight ZE9611 takes off from Busan for Singapore at 8.45 pm, arrives in Singapore at 2.15 am before departing from Singapore for Busan at 3.15 am on Sundays and touching down in Busan at 10.15 am under flight ZE9612.

Currently, South Korea and Singapore do not have an Open Skies agreement to allow airlines of both countries to operate unlimited scheduled flights between South Korea and Singapore. 

Air Busan ends its charter flight from Singapore to Busan on 30 January 2019.
