According to 9 Air, it has completed its inaugural return scheduled flight from Guiyang to Phuket on 12 January 2019 and it is ready to commence its third international route to Mandalay, the Changsha - Mandalay route, on 19 January 2019. All flights are operated by 9air's B737-800 aircraft.
On 11 January 2019, 9 Air flight AQ1201 departs from Guiyang for Phuket at 10.05 pm, touches down in Phuket at 12.30 am on 12 January 2019 before leaving Phuket for Guiyang at 1.30 am and arriving in Guiyang at 6.55 am under flight AQ1202 on the same day of 12 January 2019.
9 Air operates flights from Guiyang to Phuket on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and touches down in Guiyang on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays. There are no cheap fares on this route.
The Guiyang - Phuket flight is the second international route of 9 Air from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport following its Guiyang - Mandalay route which commences on 8 January 2019 while Phuket is the third international destination of 9 Air after Yangon and Mandalay.
With effect from 19 January 2019, 9 Air launches thrice-weekly scheduled flight from Changsha to Mandalay on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and its Mandalay - Changsha flight is operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On 19 January 2019, flight AQ1211 takes off from Changsha for Mandalay at 11 pm, touches down in Mandalay at 12.35 am before leaving Mandalay for Changsha at 1.35 am and arriving in Changsha at 5.55 am on 20 January 2019 under flight AQ1212.
With the opening of the Changsha - Mandalay - Changsha flights, 9 Air flies from three Chinese cities to Mandalay, namely Guangzhou, Guiyang and Changsha.
9 Air is rolling out more international new routes in the months ahead.
