XiamenAir launches long-haul scheduled flight from Xiamen to London Heathrow on 6 September 2026.

On 6 September 2026, according to schedules, XiamenAir flight MF821 departs from Xiamen for London Heathrow at 12.50 am, touches down in Heathrow at 6.35 am local time before leaving Heathrow for Xiamen under flight MF822 at 12.35 pm and arriving in Xiamen at 7 am on 7 September 2026.

XiamenAir flies to Heathrow on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with its 787-9 Dreamliner.

TransNusa launches twice daily flights to Suvarnabhumi on 6 August 2026

TransNusa launches twice daily scheduled flights from Cengkareng to Suvarnabhumi on 6 August 2026. The daily flight schedules are as follows:-

TransNusa flight 8B381 departs from Cengkareng for Suvarnabhumi at 8.20 am on 6 August 2026, arrives in Suvarnabhumi at 11.45 am before leaving Suvarnabhumi for Cengkareng at 12.30 pm under flight 8B382 and arriving in Cengkareng at 4.10 pm.

The next flight 8B385 takes off from Cengkareng for Suvarnabhumi at 4.40 pm, touches down in Suvarnabhumi at 7.55 pm before taking off from Suvarnabhumi for Cengkareng at 8.40 pm under flight 8B386 and landing in Cengkareng at 12.20 am on 7 August 2026.

TransNusa flies to Suvarnabhumi with its A320 aircraft.

Oman Air flies thrice weekly to Changi from 2 July 2026

Oman Air has reduced its Muscat-Changi flight frequency from four flights to three flights a week in July 2026. 

The airline resumes scheduled flight to Changi on 2 July 2026 with flight WY891 departing from Muscat for Changi at 8 am, arriving in Changi at 7.50 pm before taking off from Changi for Muscat at 8.50 pm and landing in Muscat at 12.10 am on 3 July 2026 under flight WY892.

Flight days operated by Oman Air's 737 MAX 8 jet are Thursdays and weekends.

Oman Air intends to increase the flight frequency to four flights weekly depending on market demand.

Sky Angkor Airlines launches flight to Guangzhou on 10 July 2026

Sky Angkor Airlines, the oldest private international airline of Cambodia, launches scheduled flight from Techo to Guangzhou on 10 July 2026.

On 10 July 2026, according to schedules, Sky Angkor Airlines flight ZA391 leaves Techo for Guangzhou at 11.05 pm, touches down in Guangzhou at 3.10 am on 11 July 2026 before departing from Guangzhou for Techo at 4.10 am and arriving in Techo at 6.05 am under flight ZA392.

Sky Angkor Airlines flies to Guangzhou on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with its A320 aircraft and returns to Techo on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Indonesia AirAsia suspends flights to Changi and Don Mueang

Due to the fuel crisis as a result of the Iran war and competition from TransNusa, Pelita Air, Scoot, Garuda Indonesia and Singapore Airlines, Indonesia AirAsia is suspending its daily flights to Changi from Cengkareng effective 1 July 2026. It is also suspending flights to Don Mueang from 1 August 2026. 

The airline flies thrice weekly to these airports.

Greater Bay Airlines launches flight to Kunming on 3 September 2026

Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) launches non-stop scheduled flight from Hong Kong to Kunming on 3 September 2026. It plans to fly to Kunming on Thursdays, Sundays and Tuesdays.

On 3 September 2026 (Thursday), according to schedules, GBA flight HB836 departs from Hong Kong for Kunming at 7.25 am, touches down in Kunming at 9.55 am before leaving Kunming for Hong Kong at 10.55 am under flight HB837 and arriving in Hong Kong at 1.15 pm.

On Sundays (beginning 6 September), GBA flight HB836 leaves Hong Kong for Kunming at 8.10 am, lands in Kunming at 10.40 am before departing under flight HB837 for Hong Kong at 12 pm and landing in Hong Kong at 2.20 pm.

On Thursdays (beginning 8 September), GBA flight HB836 takes off from Hong Kong for Kunming at 9.05 am, is expected to touch down in Kunming at 11.45 am before departing from Kunming for Hong Kong at 12.40 pm and arriving in Hong Kong at 2.55 pm under flight HB837.

The above flights are operated by GBA's B737-800 jet.

Air Algerie launches non-stop scheduled flight from Algiers to Pudong on 26 October 2026.

Belavia Belarusian Airlines launches scheduled flight from Minsk to Suvarnabhumi on 25 October 2026.

On 20 June 2026, 9air unveiled new route announcement on its web-site, stating that it is launching scheduled flight from Yinchuan to Changi via Guangzhou on 10 August 2026 while its inaugural flight from Changi to Yinchuan via Guangzhou takes off on 11 August 2026.

On 10 August 2026, according to schedules, 9air flight AQ1275 departs from Yinchuan for Changi via Guangzhou at 3.20 pm, stops over in Guangzhou at 6.30 pm before taking off from Guangzhou for Changi at 8.05 pm and landing in Changi Airport Terminal 4 at 12.10 am on 11 August 2026.

On 11 August 2026, 9air flight AQ1276 leaves Changi for Yinchuan via Guangzhou at 1.10 am, transits in Guangzhou at 5.20 am before departing from Guangzhou for Yinchuan at 6.55 am and arriving in Yinchuan at 10.10 am.

9air flies to Changi from Yinchuan and Guangzhou daily with its B737-800 jet.

9air is the low-cost carrier subsidiary of Juneyao Air, which has regular flights from Pudong and Wuxi to Changi.
