Airlines celebrate their Anniversaries at Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

Three airlines celebrate their Special Anniversaries at Tourism EXPO Japan 2026 that ends on 27 September 2026. These airlines include MIAT Mongolian Airlines, Philippine Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines celebrates 70th Anniversary at Tourism EXPO Japan, plans to resume non-stop flight to Changi on 15 December 2026

MIAT Mongolian Airlines has given out its 70th Anniversary postcards and winter 2026/2027 Japanese flight schedules at Tourism EXPO Japan 2026.

The airline plans to resume non-stop scheduled flights to Changi Airport, Singapore on 15 December 2026. The seasonal flights will run until January 2027. The plan, however, is subject to change without notice.

Philippine Airlines celebrates 85th Anniversary at Tourism EXPO Japan

Philippine Airlines celebrates its 85th Anniversary at the tourism and travel event by issuing its relaunched inflight magazine Mabuhay issue No. 1, 2026 as a sub-exhibitor at the Philippines pavilion. The issue celebrates 60 years of Mabuhay and an extract of Philippine Airlines' history as the national flag carrier of the Philippines.

Uzbekistan Airways marks 10 years of 787-8 operations

Uzbekistan Airways issues its inflight magazine and products at Tourism EXPO Japan to celebrate the country's 35 years of independence and its 10 years of operating the 787-8 Dreamliner.

Uzbekistan Airways has the largest fleet of 787 Dreamliners in Central Asia with Dreamliner flights to Narita, KLIA, London Heathrow and New York JFK inclusively.

New airline exhibitors Aegean Airlines, Air Niugini, Bhutan Airlines

Aegean Airlines, Air Niugini and Bhutan Airlines exhibit for the first time at Tourism EXPO Japan this year.

Aegean Airlines, that has taken over management of Olympic Air, showcases its domestic and European networks and distributes Japanese brochures highlighting its products and services.

Flight connections of Aegean Airlines to Japan and Asia are possible through its code-sharing arrangement with Singapore Airlines and other Star Alliance members.

Air Niugini reaches out to the Japan travel market

Air Niugini exhibits at Tourism EXPO Japan, promoting Air Niugini air fares and Air Niugini package tours in Japanese. The airline resumed flight to Narita from Port Moresby on 18 July 2026.

Bhutan Airlines explores the possibility of flying to Japan

Bhutan Airlines is exploring the possibility of expanding its route network to Japan after it has launched fixed departure flights to KLIA and Hong Kong. The airline distributes its English brochure and English inflight magazine Kuzuzangpola to the tourism industry and the public.

The next edition of Tourism EXPO Japan takes place from 23 to 26 September 2027 at Tokyo Big Sight.
