On 10 January 2019, China Southern Airlines Guizhou Company held the "Guizhou" Guiyang-Beijing maiden voyage ceremony, marking the official launch of the first "Chinese Wax Painting" style aircraft in China and the world.
At 11 am, the China Southern Guizhou aircraft (flight number CZ6187) departed from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. The passengers took a look at the beautiful scenery of the Huangguoshu Waterfall and Fanjingshan mushroom rock pattern on the passenger aircraft, and witnessed the "Guizhou New Business Card" soaring in the blue sky. At the press conference, Li Zaiyong, deputy governor of Guizhou Province, announced that China Southern Airlines "Guizhou" officially set sail!
The "Guizhou" aircraft, numbered B-6068, is the new Boeing 737-800 aircraft of China Southern Airlines Guizhou Company. There are 164 seats, including 8 First Class cabins, 24 Premium Economy Class and 132 Economy Class seats. The "wax painting" that is suitable for the body and the blue sky and white clouds are mutually radiant and integrated. It has transformed into a brand new Guizhou business card, with the flights ready to appeared in many cities at home and abroad in the 10,000 metyes high sky.
On November 22, 2018, in order to help Guizhou's economic development, opening up and cultural exchanges, launching regional brands, spreading the colorful image of Guizhou, and creating a “selling out of the mountain” on the cloud, Guizhou Company officially released the design of this painted passenger aircraft. It planned to carry out "change makeup" spray on the new wave 738. The fuselage is dominated by blue and white, which is echoed by the original blue color of China Southern Airlines. It is subdivided into three kinds of blue, reflecting the rich wax colours. In the evening of 25 December 2018, the passenger plane arrived at the paint shop in Yichang City and began the “change makeup” project.
Painting structure, old painting varnish, primer coloring, film drawing, varnish treatment, machine spraying and other multi-channel crafts and inkjet procedures are handled by Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd., China Southern Airlines Guizhou Aircraft Maintenance Plant. 32 crew members completed 13 painting tasks through uninterrupted work in the past two weeks. The “Guizhou” aircraft, which has attracted much attention and attention, finally flew out of the new makeup and became a beautiful landscape in the sea of clouds.
“'Guizhou' is not only the famous spokesperson and 'displayer' of the famous tourist landscape and ethnic customs of Guizhou Province, but also a unique symbol of Guizhou civil aviation culture. With the continuous enrichment of China Southern Airlines in the navigation point, the route network is increasingly perfect. This moving business card will serve as the 'air ambassador' of Guizhou Province, and build a convenient air corridor for the majority of tourists to travel to Guiyang to further meet their travel needs.
China Southern Guizhou aircraft operates flights from Guiyang to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other hub cities to help promote tourism resources in Guizhou.
