IndiGo has announced on 25 January 2019 that it is launching Asia's first low-cost daily flight from Delhi to Istanbul, the largest commercial city of Turkey, on 20 March 2019 using its Airbus A321neo aircraft.
On 20 March 2019, IndiGo flight 6E11 departs from Delhi for Istanbul at 1.40 pm, touches down in Istanbul at local time 6.10 pm before leaving Istanbul for Delhi at 7.45 pm under flight 6E12 and arriving in Delhi at 4.15 am on 21 March 2019.
IndiGo receives its first A321neo aircraft registered VT-IVK on 3 January 2019. Now, it has 208 aircraft in its fleet.
