MIAT Mongolian Airlines launches direct chartered flight to Kuala Lumpur on 26 May 2023

The Mongolian national flag carrier, MIAT Mongolian Airlines, launches direct chartered passenger flight to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), located in Sepang, from the new Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN), located in Khoshig Valley, Mongolia, on 26 May 2023.

On 26 May 2023, the outbound flight of MIAT is scheduled to depart from UBN for KLIA at 10.45 am, touches down in KLIA at 6.05 pm before leaving KLIA for UBN via Hanoi at 7.05 pm, stops over in Hanoi at 9.05 pm before the inbound flight embarks on the onward journey towards UBN at 9.50 pm and touching down in UBN at 3.30 am on 27 May 2023.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines utilizes its only Boeing B737 MAX 8 for the inaugural flight to KLIA. It is the first Mongolian carrier to touch down in Malaysia and the flight is chartered by Routes & Journeys for its group tour to Mongolia.

On 2 June and 9 June 2023, MIAT's B767-300ER is scheduled to land in KLIA with tour returnees and another group tour departure from KLIA to UBN.
