On 12 January 2019, Bamboo Airways announced that it launches commercial domestic flights from Hanoi to Danang, Dong Hoi and Buon Ma Thuot on 16 January 2019. It has started to sell tickets on its website according to the categories including Bamboo Eco, Bamboo Plus and Bamboo Business. The domestic flights will be initially operated with its three Airbus A320-200 aircraft leased from Freebird Airlines and its first A321neo aircraft which it received on 10 January 2019, subject to aircraft deployment exigencies.
Below are the domestic flight schedules of Bamboo Airways:-
Bamboo Airways has thrice-daily flights from Hanoi to Danang, QH101/QH102, QH102/QH106 and QH103/QH104. All flights are effective from 16 January 2019.
QH101/QH102 7.50 am - 9.10 am / 10 am - 11.20 am
QH105/QH106 12 pm - 1.20 pm / 2.05 pm - 3.25 pm
QH103/QH104 5.05 pm - 6.25 pm / 7.10 pm - 8.30 pm
On 16 January 2019, Bamboo Airways flight QH1241 departs from Hanoi for Dong Hoi at 8.55 am, arrives in Dong Hoi at 9.55 am before leaving Dong Hoi for Hanoi at 10.30 am and touching down in Hanoi at 11.30 am under flight QH1242.
At 12.15 pm of 16 January 2019, flight QH1401 takes off from Hanoi for Buon Ma Thuot, touches down in Buon Ma Thuot at 2 pm before departing from Buon Ma Thuot at 2.35 pm and arriving in Hanoi at 4.20 pm under flight QH1402.
Flights from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, Qui Nhon and Van Don using A321neo aircraft may be launched later.
Bamboo Airways, headquartered in Qui Nhon as a subsidiary of FLC Group, has obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) on 9 January 2019. It has an aircraft order of a further 23 A321neos, 1 A319 aircraft (leased from Pembroke) and 20 787 Dreamliners. It has plans to start international scheduled flights to Incheon, Narita and Singapore later in 2019.
