According to Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, 9 Air launched its first scheduled flight from Guiyang to Mandalay on 8 January 2019 using its B737-800 aircraft. It departs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for Mandalay from Guiyang. The route is the airport's first direct connection with Myanmar.

Flight AQ1203 departs from Guiyang for Mandalay at 6.05 pm, arrives in Mandalay at 6.45 pm local time before leaving Mandalay for Guiyang at 7.45 pm and touching down in Guiyang at 11.45 pm under flight AQ1204.
Headquartered in Guangzhou, 9 Air is the low-cost subsidiary of Juneyao Air.
