Tigerair Taiwan operates daily scheduled flight from Kaohsiung to Danang from 28 September 2023.

On 28 September 2023, Tigerair Taiwan flight IT574 departs from Kaohsiung to Danang at 6.40 am, touches down in Danang at 8.05 am before leaving Danang for Kaohsiung at 9.05 am and arriving in Kaohsiung at 12.25 pm under flight IT575.

Tigerair Taiwan resumes flights to Macau on 1 July 2023

Tigerair Taiwan resumes scheduled flight to Macau from Taoyuan on 1 July 2023 with its Airbus A320 aircraft.

On 1 July 2023, Tigerair Taiwan flight IT301 departs from Taoyuan for Macau at 6.35 am, touches down in Macau at 8.25 am before leaving Macau for Taoyuan at 9.15 am and landing in Taoyuan at 11.05 am under flight IT302.

Tigerair Taiwan flies to Macau from Taoyuan four times weekly, on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, flight IT302 departs from Macau at 11.55 am and arrives in Taoyuan at 1.55 pm.

Subsequently, Tigerair Taiwan's flights to Macau from Kaohsiung and Taichung will also resume at night of 1 July 2023 and on 2 July 2023. Check updated flight schedules on Tigerair Taiwan web-site and Ctrip.

Tigerair Taiwan launches charter flight to Puerto Princesa on 20 June 2023

Every five days from 20 June 2023, Tigerair Taiwan operates charter flights from Taoyuan to Puerto Princesa in the Philippines with its Airbus A320 aircraft. The schedules are as follows:-

Tigerair Taiwan flight IT545 departs from Taoyuan for Puerto Princesa at 4.45 pm, touches down in Puerto Princesa at 7.35 pm before leaving Puerto Princesa for Taoyuan at 8.35 pm and landing in Taoyuan at 11.25 pm under flight IT546.

Bamboo Airways launches flight to Dayong from Ho Chi Minh City on 26 April 2023

Bamboo Airways launches its first scheduled flight to a mainland Chinese airport, Dayong airport, from Ho Chi Minh City on 26 April 2023. Dayong is the international gateway to Zhangjiajie, where the famous Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, part of the UNESCO heritage site of Wulingyuan Scenic Area, is located.

On 26 April 2023, Bamboo Airways flight QH854 departs from Ho Chi Minh City for Dayong at 12.50 pm, touches down in Dayong at 5.30 pm before leaving Dayong for Ho Chi Minh City at 7 pm and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 9.45 pm under flight QH857.

Bamboo Airways flies to Dayong on Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays with Airbus A321/A321neo aircraft.

Starlux Airlines plans to fly to San Francisco, Seattle, New York

Chang Kuo-wei, chairman of Starlux Airlines, personally drove the A350-900 inaugural flight from Taipei to Los Angeles on 26 April 2023. Many fans bought tickets to support him. He said that there are opportunities for the routes that the A350 flies (Los Angeles and Singapore).

Los Angeles is the first North American destination of Starlux Airlines. According to Chang Kuo-wei, the route to its second North American destination San Francisco will be launched before the end of 2023, and the inaugural flight to its third North American destination Seattle will be launched in mid-2024. In the year ahead, Starlux's new routes will focus on these destinations in western America.

In 2025, Starlux Airlines plans to add New York to its long-haul route network. However, due to the long voyage to the east of the United States, the flights will not take place until the A350-1000 is delivered.

As for Vancouver, Starlux Airlines is also evaluating the feasibility of the new route from Taoyuan. As for Indonesia, it has just got the flight landing rights last week and destinations in Indonesia are also under evaluation.

Chang Kuo-wei pointed out that the North American route is the main force of Starlux Airlines. For example, Starlux ordered a total of 18 A350s in 2019, and it is estimated that 95% of the A350s will fly to North American airports.
