On 25 December 2021, Vietjet Air (Vietjet, in short) held the first wide-body airliner A330 reception ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the airline's 10th anniversary celebrations. The new aircraft A330-300 joining its fleet is an important milestone for Vietjet to improve its operational capabilities, expand its flight network and optimize service quality.

Congratulations to LATAM Airlines on its inaugural flight to Singapore on 22 December 2021!
On 22 December 2021, LATAM Airlines, formerly LAN Chile, completes its longest flight, to Singapore from Honolulu with its B767-300ER jet.
According to FlightRadar24, LATAM Airlines flight LA9955 operated by B767-316(ER) leaves Honolulu for Singapore at 7.50 am, a delay of 1 hour 50 minutes, on 22 December 2021 and arrives in Singapore at 4.09 pm. The flight time is 14 hours 19 minutes.
The scheduled departure time of LA9955 was 6 am while its scheduled arrival time in Singapore was 3.41 pm.
There are no passengers and cargo onboard flight LA9955 and Changi Airport does not record this flight in its flight search database.
This is the first time LATAM Airlines operates scheduled flight to Singapore, its first Southeast Asian destination, via the US.
Chile and Singapore have open-skies agreement between the two countries but LATAM Airlines is not able to launch non-stop flight between Santiago and Singapore. It has to route its flight to Singapore via an airport in the U.S.

Chongqing Airlines has launched cargo flight to Ho Chi Minh City from Chongqing with its Airbus A321neo aircraft since 18 December 2021. Flight OQ2395 leaves Chongqing for Ho Chi Minh City at 10.30 pm, lands in Ho Chi Minh City at 2.15 am on 19 December before leaving Ho Chi Minh City for Chongqing at 4.15 am and arriving in Chongqing at 8.10 am under flight OQ2396.
Chongqing Airlines flies to Ho Chi Minh City on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Air Guilin launches daily scheduled flight from Zhengzhou to Guangzhou via Guilin on 20 December 2021 with its Airbus A320 aircraft.
On 20 December 2021, Air Guilin flight GT1001 departs from Zhengzhou for Guangzhou via Guilin at 10.25 am, transits in Guilin at 12.55 pm before leaving Guilin for Guangzhou at 1.45 pm and arriving in Guangzhou at 2.50 pm.
The outbound flight of Air Guilin, GT1002, leaves Guangzhou for Zhengzhou via Guilin at 3.55 pm, transits in Guilin at 5.20 pm before taking off from Guilin for Zhengzhou at 6.10 pm and touching down in Zhengzhou at 10.20 pm.

Since 27 November 2021, Air Busan has been operating Saturday flights to Guam from Busan with flight BX614 leaving Busan for Guam at 8.05 am, landing in Guam at 1.05 pm before departing from Guam for Busan at 3.05 pm and arriving in Busan at 3.30 pm local time under flight BX613.

On 14 December 2021, Scoot resumes its scheduled flight to Vientiane from Singapore with its Airbus A320 aircraft operated by Scoot Tigerair Pte. Ltd. This is the second international scheduled flight to Laos after Lao Airlines' relief flight between Singapore and Vientiane on 1 December 2021.
According to schedules, Scoot flight TR350 departs from Singapore for Vientiane at 10 am, arrives in Vientiane at 11.55 am local time before taking off from Vientiane for Singapore at 12.45 pm and landing in Singapore Changi at 4.45 pm under flight TR351.
Scoot flies to Vientiane on Tuesdays and Saturdays from this week.
