GoAir has announced that it launches its first Middle East flight from India's newest international airport of Kannur on 28 February 2019. Its A320neo flights leave every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Kannur for Muscat, the capital of Oman, and return to Kannur on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On 28 February 2019, GoAir flight G855 departs from Kannur for Muscat at 9.45 pm, touches down in Muscat on 1 March 2019 at 12.05 am before leaving Muscat for Kannur at 1.05 am and arriving in Kannur at 6 am under flight G856.
With the addition of Muscat, GoAir flies to three overseas cities including Phuket and Male.
