Chengdu Airlines launches its first international flight on 19 January 2019 using A319 aircraft. Its first international destination is Koh Samui.
On 19 January 2019, Chengdu Airlines flight EU2801 departs from Chengdu for Koh Samui at 1.30 pm, touches down in Koh Samui at 5.30 pm local time before leaving Koh Samui for Chengdu at 6.30 pm and arriving in Chengdu at 10.20 pm under flight EU2802.
Chengdu Airlines, which has a fleet of 43 aircraft including 3 A319-100, 33 A320-200 and 7 ARJ21-700 aircraft, flies to Koh Samui from Chengdu on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Its other planned destination is Lahore in Pakistan.
