Hainan Airlines' first A350-900 embarks on its first commercial flight from Beijing Capital to Shanghai Hongqiao on 13 October 2018. The aircraft previously belonged to its Beijing-based subsidiary Capital Airlines. Registered B-1069 with serial number 098, it was first delivered to Hainan Airlines in Capital Airlines' livery in Haikou on 30 September 2018 for repainting to the current livery during the first week of October.
