Kunming Airlines flies to three airports in Thailand

Kunming Airlines, the Kunming-based subsidiary of Shenzhen Airlines, flies to three airports in Thailand. These airports are Utapao, Phuket and Suvarnabhumi. Below are the detailed flight schedules of Kunming Airlines' scheduled Thailand flights as of October 2018:

Kunming - Utapao - Kunming

Flight KY8363 takes off from Kunming for Utapao, the gateway to Pattaya, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2.15 pm, arrives in Utapao at 3.40 pm before departing from Utapao for Kunming at 5.40 pm and touching down in Kunming at 10.20 pm local time under flight KY8364.

Kunming Airlines' inaugural flight to Utapao is on 1 July 2018, replacing the previous Kunming - Hat Yai route.

Kunming Airlines' B737-800 first flew to Thailand, touching down in Hat Yai on 1 April 2017.

Kunming - Phuket - Kunming

Kunming Airlines flight KY8365 departs from Kunming for Phuket at 2 pm, touches down in Phuket at 3.50 pm before leaving Phuket for Kunming at 5.35 pm and arriving in Kunming at 9.35 pm under flight KY8366. Flights on these route sectors are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.


Kunming Airlines first started to fly to Phuket on 17 July 2017.

Kunming - Suvarnabhumi - Kunming

From 28 October 2018, flight KY8369 embarks on the inaugural flight to Suvarnabhumi from Kunming at 5.15 pm, arrives in Suvarnabhumi at 7.30 pm before leaving Suvarnabhumi for Kunming at 9 pm and landing in Kunming at 11.40 pm under flight KY8370 daily.

Kunming Airlines flies to the three Thailand airports using its B737-800 aircraft. It is a member of International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 9 August 2018 that has a fleet of 26 B737-800 aircraft and is ready to receive its first B737 MAX 8 aircraft before November 2018.
