Dubai's only low-cost airline, flydubai, that has launched its inaugural scheduled flight to Helsinki on 11 October 2018, launches its first non-stop flight from Dubai to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia in Europe, on 2 December 2018 using its B737 MAX 8 aircraft.
On 2 December 2018, flydubai flight FZ1193 departs from Dubai for Zagreb at 10 am, touches down in Zagreb at 1.15 pm local time before leaving Zagreb for Dubai at 2.30 pm and arriving in Dubai at 11 pm under flight FZ1194.
flydubai flies from Dubai to Europe, Africa and many Asian cities include Bangkok, Colombo and Mumbai. It is the West Asia pioneer of many low-costs flights to Europe including to Moscow, Tbilisi, Belgrade, Krakow, Prague and Helsinki. It is the second Asian airline to fly to Zagreb after Korean Air. The budget airline introduces Zagreb's many tourist destinations such as Museum of Broken Relationships, the grand cemetery of Mirogoj and Dolac market on its web-site.
