Flightlink, a Tanzanian regional airline, starts marketing its air services for the first time at ITB Asia 2018. The tickets are effective for travel in Tanzania during the period effective 1 March 2019 to 30 May 2020.
Managing Director Capt Munawer Dhirani of Flightlink said all flights of Flightlink for the winter season of this year are fully-booked. Hence he is pushing for sale marketing of its flights starting from the spring season of 2019 to end of May 2020.
The product specialty that Flightlink brings to visitors of ITB Asia 2018 is a free ticket for each child less than eight years old, accompanied by his parents, who will board Flightlink flights to any air strip along the Serengeti Plains from Zanzibar, Dar Es Salaam, Arusha, Lake Manyana and any Serengeti air strip.
The bush air strips on the Serengeti Plains include Seronera, Fort Ikoma, Kogatende, Grumeti and Lobo.
The Serengeti flights are operated by 30-seater Embraer 120ER Brasilia turboprop aircraft. Other turboprop aircraft in its fleet include eight-seater Cessna Citation 560 Jet, 19-seater Beechcraft 1900 Airliner, 13-seater Cessna Grand Caravan 208B and 5-seater Cessna 206.
Caot Dhirani mentions about the benefits of flying with Flightink. Its fleet has free 20 kg baggage check-in allowance. Free snacks and drinks are available onboard. The airline provides free courtesy terminal transfers in Dar Es Salaam for passengers travelling with airlines such as Qatar Airways, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines and Air Tanzania from foreign countries. It provides local travel insurance at reasonable fee, last minute online discount up to 50 per cent and seasonal ticket discount up to 30 per cent.
