Here is the latest update. SpiceJet has taken delivery of its first B737 MAX 8 aircraft and is due to operate its first commercial service on the Delhi - Hong Kong route which will be launched on 22 November 2018. The route will be exclusively operated by B737 MAX 8, and not B737-800.
The first B737 MAX 8 of SpiceJet is registered VT-MAX and nicknamed "King Chili".
SpiceJet flies daily to Hong Kong from Terminal 3 of Delhi's international airport.
