SpiceJet launches its first scheduled flight to London Heathrow on 4 December 2020

According to SpiceJet, it is launching its first long-haul scheduled flight from Delhi to London Heathrow with an Airbus A330-900neo wet-leased from Hi Fly on 4 December 2020. 

On 4 December 2020, SpiceJet flight SG9594 departs from Delhi for London Heathrow at 1 pm, touches down in London Heathrow at 5.30 pm before leaving London Heathrow for Delhi at 7.30 pm and arriving in Delhi at 7.55 am on 5 December 2020 under flight SG9595.

SpiceJet leaves for London on Fridays and Sundays. It lands in Delhi on Saturdays and Mondays.

SpiceJet first started to utilize the A330-900neo on its first long-haul charter relief flight from Amsterdam to Hyderabad via Bengaluru on 1 August 2020. This was followed by its second relief flight from Delhi to Toronto on 9 August 2020.

SpiceJet also plans to launch its second long-haul scheduled flight from Mumbai to Delhi Heathrow but as of 11 October 2020, the schedules are not available on its web-site.
