The Chinese city of Quzhou and Chongqing-based airline China Express signed a cooperation project on 20 October 2020. The two parties, that cooperate mainly on the construction of China Yunfei International Aviation School and East China Regional Headquarters, have agreed to jointly construct a civil aviation hub in Quzhou Airport, establish Quzhou Airlines and Quzhou Aviation Industry Guidance Fund.
The Quzhou party that will have a stake in Quzhou Airlines is Quzhou Xin'an Properties and Investments Company Limited. Details of the percentage stakes are not disclosed. Before starting the Quzhou Airlines project, both parties agree to allow China Express to base three aircraft overnight in Quzhou Airport, launch new flights from Quzhou and add flight frequencies to Quzhou.
Quzhou Airlines will be a subsidiary of China Express.
