To further refine the aviation network layout within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA) and deepen regional coordinated development, China Southern is launching a new round-trip passenger route between Guangzhou and Macau on 10 December 2026. Concurrently, the airline will optimize capacity and flight schedules for its existing route between Macau and Daxing. These initiatives are designed to strengthen the GBA’s integrated transport system, providing fresh momentum for the high-quality development of personnel exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural tourism integration across the region.
According to China Southern Airlines’ operational plan, the service on the new Guangzhou–Macau route will be operate daily by China Southern's A320 jet. The flight schedule is tailored to passenger needs: the outbound flight departs from Guangzhou at 7.20 am and arrives in Macau at 8.25 am while the return flight departs from Macau at 6.40 pm and lands in Guangzhou at 7.45 pm. Ticket sales for this new route are not yet open but booking services will become available in due course.
Furthermore, starting 10 December 2026, the existing route between Macau and Daxing will undergo upgrades and optimizations. This will create an integrated "Guangzhou–Macau–Daxing" network, enabling coordinated operations across the three locations. Following these adjustments, flights from Macau to Daxing will be shifted to the morning while return flights from Daxing to Macau will move to the afternoon. This change effectively fills a gap in morning flight options from Macau to Beijing, significantly expanding travel choices between Guangzhou, Macau and Beijing. By better aligning with the travel habits of Macau residents and other passengers, these improvements will offer greater convenience and flexibility.
Daxing is the second international airport of Beijing after Beijing Capital.
