Air Mauritius has resumed international scheduled flight from Port Louis on 2 October 2020. The first destination is Paris, followed by Reunion on 5 October 2020.
According to schedules, the first Air Mauritius flight to resume during the pandemic is flight MK014 on 2 October 2020, departing for Paris. On that day, flight MK014 departs for Paris at 8.15 pm, touches down in Paris at 5.45 am on 3 October 2020 before leaving Paris for Port Louis at 9.45 pm and arriving in Port Louis at 11 am on 4 October 2020. The outbound flight from Port Louis is valid on 9, 16, 23 and 30 October 2020.
On 6 October 2020, MK014 takes off for Paris at 7.45 pm and arrives in Paris at 5.45 am the day after. The 7.45 pm flight is valid on 13 and 27 October.
On 5 October 2020, flight MK218 takes off for Reunion at 9 am, arrives in Reunion at 9.45 am before taking off for Port Louis at 11.30 am and touching down in Port Louis at 12.15 pm under flight MK219.
Under Mauritius epidemic prevention and control requirements, Mauritians and tourists on long stay must show check-in staff negative PCR tests administered not more than seven days before the actual date of departure. Adults and children above 11 years old must wear masks from the time of check-in to disembarkation. Anyone showing any symptom of covid will be quarantined upon arrival in Mauritius.
Mauritius has reported 435 confirmed covid cases and 10 deaths. 386 covid patients have recovered. The Indian Ocean country re-opens its borders on 1 October 2020.
