According to Airbus, SAS has received its first long-range A321LR aircraft, becoming a new operator of this latest efficient long-range single-aisle aircraft. The aircraft's delivery flight from Hamburg to Copenhagen used 10% of sustainable aviation fuel.
Airbus said that as the first aircraft manufacturer to provide customers with sustainable aviation fuel when delivering aircraft, such delivery flights have been carried out since 2016.
