At 3 pm on 1 October 2020, a Boeing 777 aircraft slowly landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India. According to the Indian media, the plane is made by Boeing and equipped with the most advanced missile defense system in the United States, which is comparable to the US Air Force One.

The official call sign of this aircraft is "AirIndiaOne" . It will be the first special plane of the President, Vice President and Prime Minister of India. It can be described as the Indian version of "Air Force One". Indian officials revealed that another Boeing 777 with the same specifications is also expected to be delivered soon, when the two aircraft will fly together.

Currently, the planes carried by the President, Vice President and Prime Minister of India are Boeing 747s piloted by Air India pilots. These planes are used for commercial operations when they are not performing relevant flight missions. The two newly purchased planes will be received by Air India first, and then handed over to the Indian Air Force, which will be carried by Indian Air Force pilots in the future. For this reason, 40 Indian Air Force pilots have received relevant training.

As the Indian version of "Air Force One", the special plane configuration is very high-end. With a small medical center and standard media space, it can fly continuously for more than 17 hours. In the future, it will be able to fly directly from India to the United States.

According to Indian media reports, the safety configuration of the two Boeing 777s is comparable to that of the US Air Force One. They are equipped with an advanced secure communication system that uses audio and video communication functions in the air without worrying about recording or hacker attacks.
