Ode to SilkAir

Pictures and Poem by : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

In memory of SilkAir flights during the pandemic

 Ode to SilkAir

Smooth flight in the air where I sat until I land
In the land of changi trees I clap and chat.
Let seagulls mew hopes of many lend and send,
Kindred nations slap and ban all viral hats.
All under the care of crew and pilot
I echo the lines in the air on my armrests;
Rosy clouds tumble dogs and cats, hear
All because of love, grove, scarf and scarlet,
I pray virus defeated by vaccine tests;
Risen to skies are stocks, kins chat, cheer.
