According to The Khaleej Times, Etihad Airways plans to launch a future inaugural scheduled flight to Tel Aviv. It did not state the date of the official inaugural scheduled flight.
On 18 October 2020, an Etihad Dreamliner historic flight touched down in Tel Aviv from Abu Dhabi after 7 am and on 19 October 2020, the jet returned to Abu Dhabi with an Israeli travel and tourism delegation onboard. The airline has launched a Hebrew web-site.
Ethiad previously operated an unmarked cargo relief flight to Tel Aviv to assist Palestinians in their anti-epidemic fight against SARS-CoV-2 the virus that causes coronavirus disease (covid).
