According to sources on Twitter, Vietravel Airlines' two Airbus A321 jets have completed livery painting in the Shannon plant of Airbus, Ireland. The two aircraft's registered codes are OE-IDP and OE-IDQ and formerly belong to Thomas Cook and Condor.
Vietravel Airlines has received approval to launch commercial flight operations in December 2020 with the two A321 aircraft. It has targeted 18 December 2020 as its inaugural flight launch date. It will initially operate domestic flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and other Vietnamese cities.
According to Vietravel Airlines CEO Nguyen Quoc Ky, the airline expects to own a fleet of eight jets over the next few years.
