Royal Brunei Airlines announces new routes for winter 2018

Royal Brunei Airlines, which will exhibit at JATA Tourism Expo 2018 in Tokyo Big Sight, Odaiba, on 20 to 23 September 2018, has announced its new routes for winter 2018/2019.

Firstly, Royal Brunei launches non-stop B787-8 flight from Bandar Seri Begawan for London Heathrow on 28 October 2018. Departing daily, flight BI003 leaves Bandar Seri Begawan for London Heathrow at 12.15 am, arrives in Heathrow at 6.50 am local time before leaving Heathrow for Bandar Seri Begawan at 5.05 pm on 29 October 2018 and touching down in Bandar Seri Begawan at 2.40 am local time on 30 October 2018 under flight BI004.

Passengers from Brunei no longer need to transit in Dubai for onward flights to London.

Secondly, Royal Brunei resumes flights to Taoyuan from Bandar Seri Begawan from 3 December 2018. Departing on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, flight BI451 departs from Bandar Seri Begawan for Taoyuan at 11 am, arrives in Taoyuan at 2.30 pm before leaving Taoyuan for Bandar Seri Begawan at 3.30 pm and touching down in Bandar Seri Begawan at 7 pm under flight BI452. The recommenced route to Taoyuan is operated by Royal Brunei Airlines' new A320neo aircraft.

Royal Brunei Airlines also plans to deploy the A320neo aircraft on its new route to Haikou starting 30 October 2018, subject to bilateral approval and granting of slot in Haikou Meilan International Airport. The A320neo aircraft is currently utilized on its new scheduled flight route to Nanning which it opened in April 2018. 

Royal Brunei Airlines flies to Shanghai-Pudong, Hangzhou, Zhengzhou and Nanning in China. It also flies daily to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Narita, Ho Chi Minh City and many other destinations in Europe, Australia and Asia. By early 2019, the airline will have 7 A320neo and 5 B787-8 aircraft.
