The world of Jetstar Asia inflight meals now includes highly-nutritious quinoa salad

Jetstar Group has improved the quality and variety of its inflight meals on Jetstar Asia flights but the prices are now on an all-time high. 



The three most expensive hot meals on Jetstar's flights, the Bimbap Premier Meal, Nasi Lemak with Chicken Satay Premium Meal and Nasi Goreng Sayuran Premium Meal, cost 22 Singapore Dollars.

For online pre-ordered meals, Bimbap Premium Meal is a traditional Korean dish with minced beef, turnips, carrots, beansprouts, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, steamed Japanese rice and Gochujang sauce. It comes with free passionfruit cake, Tyrell's lightly salted chips and pre-cupped water. The package costs 22 Singapore Dollars.



Other meals cost 16 Singapore Dollars. They include Tom Yam Chicken with Pineapple Rice, Cabbage Masala and Green Pea Curry with Ghee Pulao and Vegan Mixed Bean Quinoa Salad with Hummus.



For online pre-ordered meal booking, Vegan Mixed Bean Quinoa Salad with Hummus comes with free Udders ice-cream and mineral water and costs 16 Singapore Dollars. If one orders the product onboard, one has to pay 26 Singapore Dollars as without online booking in advance, the Singapore-manufactured ice cream costs 4 Singapore Dollars while the mineral bottled water costs 6 Singapore Dollars, according to an air hostess of Jetstar Asia. The quinoa salad alone costs 16 Singapore Dollars onboard and is available in limited quantity.
