Air Macau is celebrating its 25th Anniversary year on 13 September 2019.  Established on 13 September 1994, it began commercial operations on 9 November 1995 with flights from Macau to Beijing and Shanghai Hongqiao. In the last 9 years, it has been a profitable airline. To achieve continuous growth, it has set goals for the next two years.

Air Macau plans to resume flights to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and introduce new flight connection with Delhi, using its 2 Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Besides flights to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Air Macau plans to increase its flight frequencies to Osaka Kansai from once-daily to twice-daily and to Kaohsiung from twice-daily to thrice-daily services.

Gradually, subject to market demand, Air Macau will consider ordering long-haul wide-body aircraft. It currently has purchase orders of an additional A320neo and 2 A321neo aircraft.

Air Macau aims to be a first-class regional airline in Asia by increasing its annual operational investment by 10 per cent, focusing on developing its route network in Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia and opening new travel markets in South Asia logically and ensuring the continuous sustainability of the routes.
