Qingdao Airlines launches flight to Phuket on 10 July 2019

Qingdao Airlines launches its first flight into Thailand from Qingdao on 10 July 2019 using its A320 aircraft.

On 10 July 2019, the outbound flight departs from Qingdao for Phuket at 9 pm, touches down in Phuket at 1.30 am on 11 July 2019 before leaving Phuket for Qingdao at 2.30 am and arriving in Qingdao at 9 am.

Qingdao Airlines flies to Phuket on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It returns to Qingdao on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Each flight duration lasts for 5 hours 30 minutes.

The Qingdao - Phuket route is Qingdao Airlines' eighth international route after its Qingdao - Incheon, Qingdao - Cam Ranh, Qingdao - Phu Quoc, Chengdu - Cam Ranh, Quanzhou - Mandalay, Tianjin - Mandalay and Zhanjiang - Sihanoukville routes.

With the launch of the new route, Chinese tourists no longer need to transit in Singapore, Incheon, Don Mueang, Shanghai or Hong Kong for onward flights to Phuket.

After the Qingdao - Phuket route is opened, Qingdao Airlines has future plans to operate flights from other Chinese cities to Phuket. These cities include Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Xi'an and Nanjing.
