Lucky Air has announced two new Yunnan routes to Guiyang. The new routes are Xishuangbanna - Guiyang, starting 21 June 2019 and Lugu Lake - Guiyang from 25 June 2019.
On 21 June 2019, Lucky Air flight 8L9595 departs from Xishuangbanna for Guiyang at 6.50 am, arrives in Guiyang at 8.20 am before leaving Guiyang for Xishuangbanna at 9.10 am and touching down in Xishuangbanna at 10.45 am under flight 8L9596.
Flights between Xishuangbanna and Guiyang are conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On 25 June 2019, flight 8L9701 leaves Lugu Lake for Guiyang at 11.30 am, touches down in Guiyang at 12.50 pm before taking off for Lugu Lake at 1.50 pm and arriving in Lugu Lake at 3.10 pm under flight 8L9702.
Lucky Air flies between Lugu Lake and Guiyang on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and flies daily between Lugu Lake and Kunming.
Lugu Lake is the Yunnan legendary land of "Daughters' Kingdom" (女儿国) where many minority tribes live. In this region, women outnumber men in population whereas Xishuangbanna is predominated by the Dai tribe with Thai cultural and historical influences.
