RwandAir is extending its Kigali - Mumbai route to Guangzhou officially on 18 June 2019.
On 18 June 2019, RwandAir flight WB500 departs from Kigali for Guangzhou via Mumbai at 12.50 am, transits in Mumbai at 11.30 am before leaving Mumbai for Guangzhou at 12.50 pm and touching down in Guangzhou at 9.40 pm.
At 11.20 pm of 18 June 2019, RwandAir flight WB501 takes off from Guangzhou for Mumbai, lands in Mumbai at 2.50 am for passengers to alight before embarking on the return journey to Kigali at 4.15 am and arriving in Kigali on 19 June 2019 at 7.40 am.
Flights to Guangzhou from Kigali via Mumbai operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using Airbus A330-300 aircraft land in Mumbai and Kigali on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
RwandAir will be the sixth African airline to serve the mammoth China travel market through Guangzhou after Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, Air Mauritius, Egyptair and South African Airways.
