Lebanon’s national flag carrier, Middle East Airlines, has signed an agreement with Airbus at Paris Air Show 2019 its order for four Airbus super-long-range A321XLR aircraft, making it the latest improved A321 model first launch customer for Airbus’s leading A321neo family of aircraft.
The purchase-order agreement has enabled Middle East Airlines's Airbus single-aisle aircraft to reach a total of 15 A321neo aircraft, including 11 A321neo aircraft and four ultra-long-range A321XLR aircraft. It will use its ultra-long-range A321XLR aircraft to enhance its network of African and Asian routes.
