China Eastern launches Shanghai Airlines' 787-9 Dreamliner flight from Pudong to Budapest on 7 June 2019 to mark 70 Years of China - Hungary friendly relations.
On 7 June 2019, flight MU869 / FM869 departs from Pudong for Budapest at 12.40 am, touches down in Budapest at 5.35 am local time before leaving Budapest for Pudong at 12.30 pm on 7 June 2019 and touching down in Pudong at 4.45 am on 8 June 2019 under flight MU870 / FM870.
The Pudong - Budapest flight duration is 10 hours 55 minutes while the duration of the Budapest - Pudong flight is 10 hours 15 minutes.
China Eastern, that wholly owns Shanghai Airlines, is the first China carrier to serve the Hungary travel market. It does not face any competition on the new route.
