According to Aviation Week, Greater Bay Airlines has applied to the U.S. Department of Transportation for a foreign airline operating license and related exemptions. The company plans to launch scheduled passenger flights to the United States in the 2025-2026 winter season.

It is reported that Greater Bay Airlines plans to open a Hong Kong = Saipan route with two flights per week, operated by Boeing 737-800, and is expected to officially start the service in the 2025-2026 winter season.

In addition, Greater Bay Airlines also revealed that once the Boeing 737-9 aircraft ordered by the airline is successfully delivered, it will also launch a Hong Kong = Guam route in 2026.

If the route is successfully opened, it will mark the official entry of Greater Bay Airlines into the U.S. market. Greater Bay Airlines said that the opening of the U.S. route will provide more travel options for passengers in both places, while enhancing regional aviation connectivity and market competitiveness.
