China Southern's new Guangzhou-Almaty round-trip route, launched on 25 June 2025, is operated by its Boeing B737-8 aircraft, with three round trips every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, on flight numbers CZ3083 and CZ3084.
The outbound flight on Wednesday, CZ3083, takes off from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 4.05 pm local time and arrives at Almaty International Airport at 8.10 pm, with a flight time of about 7 hours.
The return flight, CZ3084, takes off from Almaty International Airport at 9.40 pm and arrives at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 6.55 am the next day, with a flight time of about 6 hours and 15 minutes.
The outbound flight on Mondays and Fridays takes off from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 1.50 pm and arrives at Almaty International Airport at 6 pm; the return flight takes off from Almaty International Airport at 8 pm and arrives at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 5.15 am the next day.
