Spring Airlines is launching seven new routes from 1 July 2019 onwards using its Airbus A320 aircraft. Below are the list of Spring Airlines' July new routes and their launch dates.

Of particular note, Spring Airlines is the first Chinese airline to launch the non-stop route from Shanghai Pudong to Yangon. Passengers no longer need to fly to Kunming or Hong Kong from Shanghai for their onward flights to Yangon.

According to China Southern Airlines SG Facebook, China Southern celebrates 25 years of flight operations from Guangzhou to Singapore on 28 June 2019 at Jewel Changi Airport with a Chongqing Airlines new product launch.

China Southern's first scheduled flight to Singapore from Guangzhou falls on 28 June 1994.

On the same day, China Southern and Changi Airport proudly welcome Chongqing Airlines' inaugural resumption flight from Chongqing to Singapore using Airbus A320neo aircraft. The flight is code-shared between Chongqing Airlines and China Southern.
However, Chongqing Airlines' first inaugural scheduled flight to Singapore from Chongqing falls on 9 September 2016 using A320 aircraft as above.

West Air's last revenue flight from Singapore to Urumqi via Chongqing is on 30 June 2019 (the last revenue flight from Urumqi to Singapore via Chongqing falls on the same date). The publisher Kucinta Setia bids farewell to the Chinese carrier through the pictures in this Sayacinta - Airpost report.
In retrospect :
Following the withdrawal of West Air from Changi Airport, only Urumqi Air has flights from Singapore to Urumqi via Wuhan on a scheduled basis while West Air's only international scheduled route is to Mandalay from Chongqing, commencing 2 July 2019.
Jeju Air replaces West Air as the newest flight operator of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4 on 4 July 2019.
Sayacinta - Airpost will cover the evening Jeju Air check-in counter preparations for the first inaugural scheduled flight to Busan at 12.25 am on 5 July 2019 and the return Jeju Air passenger flight to Singapore Changi in the late afternoon of 6 July 2019.

9 Air launches flight from Guangzhou to Sihanoukville on 8 July 2019. It is the first Chinese airline to serve the Guangzhou - Sihanoukville route. Currently, JC International Airlines and Lanmei Airlines of Cambodia operate 'red-eye' flights on the route.
On 8 July 2019, 9 Air flight AQ1009 departs from Guangzhou for Sihanoukville at 3.10 pm, arrives in Sihanoukville at 5.35 pm before leaving Sihanoukville for Guangzhou at 9.35 pm and landing in Guangzhou at 2 am under flight AQ1010.
9 Air flies to Sihanoukville on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Japan's private airlines Fuji Dream Airlines, Skymark Airlines and Air Do are ranked among top five five-star airlines in the world for their on-time performance between June 2018 and May 2019, according to the On-Time Performance (OTP) Star Ratings released by Orient Airline Guides (OAG) on 27 June 2019.
The top five five-star airlines of the world for flight punctuality or OTP are as follows:-
Garuda Indonesia - 91.6 per cent
Fuji Dream Airlines - 90.5 per cent
Copa Airlines - 90.1 per cent
Skymark Airlines - 89.2 per cent
Air Do - 87.8 per cent
The top five four-star airlines in Asia for flight punctuality are as follows:-
Jetstar Asia Airways - 84.6 per cent
Solaseed Air - 83.7 per cent
Singapore Airlines - 83.2 per cent
Qatar Airways - 82.5 per cent
IndiGo - 81.5 per cent
Hong Kong Airlines is ranked sixth as a four-star airline in Asia for OTP - 81.2 per cent.
Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon are ranked two-star airlines for OTP by OAG.
The annual OTP Star Ratings accredits the top airlines and airports around the world for superior flight punctuality performance.

From 12 July 2019, for passengers holding Urumqi Air domestic air tickets, the maximum weight limit for free carry-on luggage will be increased from 5 kg to 7 kg. The total dimensions of the carry-on luggage, however, cannot exceed 20 x 40 x 30 cm.
In addition, the free checked baggage allowance for passengers holding the Urumqi Air team tickets is adjusted to 10 kg, while passengers holding the tickets below the Economy Class of 4 per cent discount (for Class A/U/T/Z/R/E/E1/E2/E3) cannot enjoy the free checked baggage allowance.
Other baggage new rules will also apply:
Group passengers holding on to Urumqi Air tickets above the Economy Class of 4 per cent discount (Class G/B/H/K/L/M/X/V/N/P) can enjoy free checked baggage of maximum weight 10 kg.
Passengers that hold full-priced Urumqi Air tickets or tickets under free exchange or Premium Economy Class tickets (Class Y/S/O/Q) can check-in free baggage up to 20 kg.
Business Class passengers of Urumqi Air are allowed to bring onboard 2 luggage with each maximum weight of 7 kg under Class C/D/I/J. However, the luggage dimensions cannot exceed 115 cm.
For checked baggage exceeding the limit, passengers can purchase baggage allowance on demand through Urumqi Air official website, WeChat public account, customer service hotline (95334), airport check-in counters for excess baggage payment.
The new baggage policy follows Urumqi Air's decision to sell inflight meals onboard its domestic flights with effect from 1 July 2019.
On Urumqi Air's flights to Singapore and future international flights, the maximum carry-on luggage weight is 5 kg, according to Urumqi Air GSA in Singapore. This is in contrast with the maximum carry-on baggage weight of 10 kg stated in Urumqi Air's General Conditions of International Carriage for Passengers and Baggage, while the maximum dimensions of a carry-on baggage cannot exceed 115 cm, same as GX Airlines.
The maximum weight of a checked-in luggage on Urumqi Air's international flight cannot exceed 23 kg.
Passengers departing from Singapore for Wuhan and Urumqi are advised to check with the counter staff on carry-on baggage weight.
International inflight meals on Urumqi Air's Singapore flight services remain complimentary.

XiamenAir has expanded its route network to cover Myanmar. Since 22 June 2019, it has been operating twice-weekly scheduled flights between Xiamen and Yangon.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays, XiamenAir flight MF8669 departs from Xiamen for Yangon at 2.30 pm, arrives in Yangon at 4.50 pm before leaving Yangon for Xiamen at 5.50 pm and touching down in Xiamen at 11.15 pm under flight MF8670.
Flights are operated using B737 aircraft.

Dubai low-cost-carrier flydubai has appointed Tourist Mobile Travel Centre Pte Ltd (TTM Travel, in short) in Singapore to be its ticket sole distributor in the Lion City.
By the way, flydubai sells its tickets overseas preferably through agent distribution, rather than direct online ticketing to solo users.

Sichuan Airlines launches flight from Chengdu to Rome from 22 June 2019 using its Airbus A330 aircraft.
On 22 June 2019, Sichuan Airlines flight 3U607 departs from Chengdu for Rome at 2 am, arrives in Rome at 7.25 am before leaving Rome for Chengdu at 1.25 pm and touching down in Chengdu at 5.50 am on 23 June 2019 under flight 3U608.
Sichuan Airlines flies to Rome from Chengdu on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Each journey lasts from 10 hours 25 minutes to 11 hours 25 minutes, subject to air traffic conditions.

China Eastern launches thrice-weekly scheduled flight from Qingdao to Dubai on 29 June 2019. Thrice-weekly flights take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using Airbus A330 aircraft.
On 29 June 2019, China Eastern flight MU793 departs from Qingdao for Dubai at 2.05 pm, arrives in Dubai at 7.55 pm local time before leaving Dubai for Qingdao at 11 pm and touching down in Qingdao on 30 June 2019 at 11.40 am.
The Qingdao - Dubai route is the third intercontinental route of Qingdao's international airport after Qingdao - Paris and Qingdao - San Francisco routes.
