Malindo Air launches Southeast Asia's first low-cost flight to Varanasi on 18 July 2019

Malindo Air (or Batik Air Malaysia) launches Southeast Asia's first low-cost international flight to Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh, India, from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang, on 18 July 2019 using B737-800 aircraft. 

On 18 July 2019, Malindo Air flight OD290 departs from KLIA for Varanasi at 7 pm, touches down in Varanasi at 9.10 pm before leaving Varanasi for KLIA at 10.10 pm and arriving in KLIA at 5.30 am on 19 July 2019 under flight OD291.

The flight duration on both sectors is 4 hours 40 minutes and 4 hours 50 minutes.

Malindo Air flies to Varanasi on Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays. It touches down in KLIA on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.

To mark the launch of the flight to Varanasi, Malindo Air is selling one-way through-KLIA Economy Class fare from 251 Singapore Dollars and Business Class fare from 542 Singapore Dollars, from 190 Singapore Dollars for one-way KLIA - Varanasi Economy Class fare ...
