It is powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, and is equipped with Air Arabia's new state of the art cabin interior that was launched as part of Air Arabia's new brand identity unveiled in October 2018. The new cabin interior includes new generation of seats providing extra comfort onboard while maintaining Air Arabia's generous seat pitch.

The A320neo LR aircraft has the longest range of any single-aisle airliner, enabling Air Arabia to tap into new markets previously not accessible.  The introduction of the new aircraft allows Air Arabia to launch medium- to long-haul flights as it expands its route network. Therefore, Air Arabia is happy to introduce this aircraft to the Southeast Asia travel markets, beginning with Kuala Lumpur, where many discerning low-cost travelers transit.
