According to Lao Airlines, it has launched non-stop charter flights to Pudong and Wenzhou to support the tourism activities of Visit Laos Year 2019.
The first flight to Pudong took off on 28 January 2019 while flights to Wenzhou on Sundays departed in February 2019.
Lao Airlines has the option to increase its Pudong flight frequency to four times a week while it is exploring the possibilities of mounting charter flights to other China cities such as Beijing, Hangzhou, Quanzhou and Wuhan.
Currently, Lao Airlines operates scheduled flights regularly to Kunming, Xishuangbanna, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Changsha and Changzhou. It is the only international airline from Southeast Asia that operates scheduled flights to Changzhou, near Shanghai.
