Hunnu Air has announced on Facebook that it is receiving its first Embraer E180 regional jet on 24 May 2019. It took delivery of the aircraft on 21 May 2019 as it celebrates the 94th Anniversary of the establishment of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia.

Mongolia's second largest airline Hunnu Air started its fleet reformation in 2016, with the plan to import and own four Embraer E190 aircraft by 2021. The arrival of the regional jet will join the airline's fleet of two ATR72 aircraft and enable Hunnu Air to increase the number of flight destinations.

Hunnu Air has regular flights from Ulaanbaatar to Erlian, Manzhouli, Ulan Ude, Hailar and domestic destinations such as Dornod, Khovd, Uvs, Bayan Ulgii, Murun and Dalanzadgad.

Embraer-190 is a low-noise, clean and new generation aircraft and is one of the most widely used aircraft in the air travel market today. It can fly up to 870 km per hour with a maximum flight distance of 4537 km and seating capacity of 98 passengers.
