Capital Airlines plans to open a new round-trip route from Qingdao to Hong Kong starting from 24 December 2022. This is the first time that the Beijing Capital Airport-based subsidiary of Hainan Airlines has opened a new route to Hong Kong, with the aim of strengthening economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Shandong and Hong Kong, and providing a strong air traffic flow guarantee to Shandong Province as the Chinese attempt to co-exist with the covid virus.
According to the flight plan, Capital Airlines launches its first flight to Hong Kong from Qingdao on 24 December 2022 and subsequent flights will be operated on Saturdays. The outbound flight JD5747 departs from Qingdao for Hong Kong at 11.25 am and arrives in Hong Kong at 2.50 pm while the return flight JD5748 is scheduled to leave Hong Kong at 4.30 pm and land in Qingdao at 8.15 pm.
