Air Greenland has taken delivery of an Airbus A330-800 wide-body aircraft, becoming the latest operator of the aircraft type. The Airbus A330neo will replace previous-generation aircraft in Air Greenland's fleet, reducing operating costs and improving environmental efficiency while providing passengers with a comfortable travel experience.

Air Greenland's A330neo can comfortably accommodate 305 passengers, including 42 premium economy seats and 263 economy class seats.

Air Greenland also has an agreement with Airbus for Flight Hour Services (FHS), covering parts supply and maintenance services. Based on concepts such as circular economy model and carbon footprint reduction, Airbus FHS can provide more sustainable solutions throughout the entire life cycle of the aircraft. Airbus FHS currently serves more than 1,200 aircraft worldwide.

In line with Air Greenland's sustainability strategy, the aircraft was delivered using a 30% blend of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Air Greenland will initially deploy its A330neo on routes between the Arctic islands and Denmark, adding North American and European routes later.
