GX Airlines, short for Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines, announced on 27 December 2018 that it is launching daily scheduled flight from Nanning to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport on 23 January 2019 using its Airbus A320 aircraft. This is the second international route of the Guangxi airline after its Singapore route.
On 23 January 2019, GX Airlines flight GX8907 departs from Nanning for Suvarnabhumi at 7 pm, arrives in Suvarnabhumi at 8.25 pm before leaving Suvarnabhumi at 9.25 pm for Nanning and touching down in Nanning at 12.50 am on 24 January 2019 under flight GX8908.
International destinations of GX Airlines within the next two years include Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Luang Prabang, Jakarta and Manila.
