GX Airlines resumes Nanning=Changi route, and the route to Suvarnabhumi is increased to a daily flight

At 9:10 am on 7 March 2023, GX Airlines flight GX8967 of Hainan Airlines Group took off smoothly from Nanning Wuxu International Airport, carrying 123 passengers to Singapore Changi International Airport, marking that GX Airlines' Nanning = Singapore route is officially resumed. At the same time, the airline has increased the Nanning-Suvarnabhumi  route to one flight per day starting from 7 March 2023. GX Airlines continues to restore the layout of the ASEAN route network, helping Guangxi to speed up the development of the ASEAN-oriented aviation channel in Nanning.

At 12:40 pm on the same day, after flight GX8967 arrived in Singapore, Changi Airport held a simple welcome event for flight GX8967 and distributed small gifts to passengers arriving in Singapore. It is reported by the reporter that the Nanning-Singapore flight of GX Airlines is operated by Airbus A320 passenger aircraft. At the beginning of the flight, there will be a round-trip flight every Tuesday. The outbound flight number is GX8967, which departs from Nanning at 9:10 am and arrives in Singapore at 1 pm while flight GX8968, departs from Singapore at 2.30 pm and arrives in Nanning at 6.15 pm, according to schedule.

On 7 March 2023, flight GX8968 actually departed for Nanning at 3.01 pm and landed in Nanning at 6.16 pm.

The Nanning-Singapore direct route is the second international route resumed by GX Airlines. With the continuous increase in outbound travel, in order to meet the travel needs of more passengers, GX Airlines launched a single-segment only 570 yuan (tax included) special offer ticket. At the same time, it also provides a domestic route transfer price of only 100 RMB, which can transfer passengers from 23 cities including Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Jinan, etc. to Singapore and Bangkok via Nanning. Such an incentive aims to attract passengers to Nanning, Guangxi and transfer to Southeast Asia, and hence further develop Nanning as an International Transit Hub Airport.
