AirAsia Indonesia or commonly known as Indonesia AirAsia is adding new routes to Indonesia from its Singapore hub in Changi Airport. From 28 January 2015, it is commencing weekly scheduled flights from Singapore to Lombok and Solo.
Twice-weekly flights to Lombok on Wednesdays and Fridays commence on 28 January 2015 when flight QZ171 departs from Singapore for Lombok at 1.40 pm and arrives in Lombok at 4.15 pm before embarking on the return journey at 6.05 pm and touching down in Singapore at 8.45 pm under flight QZ170.
Thrice-weekly flights to Solo on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays take place on 29 January 2015. On this day, flight QZ375 departs from Singapore for Solo at 1.40 pm, lands in Solo at 2.50 pm before departing for Singapore at 3.25 pm and arriving in Singapore at 6.35 pm under flight QZ376.
The Singapore-Lombok-Singapore budget flight route was abandoned by Tigerair a few months ago while the Singapore-Solo-Singapore sector was previously operated by SilkAir. AirAsia Indonesia is the first budget flight operator on the Solo route.
With the additions of Lombok and Solo to its route network, AirAsia Indonesia is the largest budget flight operator of Indonesian routes from Changi Airport. Its other Indonesian destinations include Jakarta, Semarang, Denpasar, Yogyakarta and Bandung.
