Qantas launches Brisbane - Chicago route on 20 April 2020

Qantas, the Australian airline, launches 787-9 Dreamliner flight from Brisbane to Chicago on 20 April 2020 non-stop. Spanning a distance of 14326 km, the route will be the fourth longest route of the world as each flight lasts about 17 hours.

On 20 April 2020, Qantas Dreamliner flight QF85 departs from Brisbane for Chicago at 3.30 pm, touches down in Chicago at 4.40 pm local time on the same day before leaving Chicago for Brisbane at 9.50 pm and arriving in Brisbane at 6.10 am on 22 April 2020 under flight QF86.

Qantas flies to Chicago from Brisbane on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The airline will monitor the market response to the flight service before increasing the frequency to a daily service and introducing the Brisbane - San Francisco route.
