SilkAir is Singapore Airlines from 28 January 2021

For more than 30 years, SilkAir has flown to 40 destinations in Asia Pacific, often chosen for its service reliability and promise to make every journey a joy to fly.

From 28 January 2021, SilkAir starts its integration into Singapore Airlines, part of a planned merger announced in 2018.

SilkAir’s 9 Boeing 737-800 aircraft will progressively join the Singapore Airlines fleet with a freshly painted liverynewly upholstered seats, and served by cabin crew who will now be dressed in the iconic sarong kebaya. 

Look forward to delicious in-flight meals created by Singapore Airlines team of chefs, which feature a great variety of dishes on rotation. 

Savour delightful new main courses even if a flyer reached the same destination multiple times a year. On Economy Class flights under 3.5 hours, onboard meals will be served in iall new sustainable paper boxes that are deep enough for gravy dishes and comforting congee.

In Business Class, finish meals with fruits and cheese on flights more than 3.5 hours long. Enjoy signature satay canapĂ© during Singapore Airlines' lunch and dinner service on flights more than 5 hours long. 

Regardless of cabin class, pair meals with glasses of wine curated by the world's leading experts.

Through the integration of SilkAir into Singapore Airlines, the airline promises to make each inflight experience enjoyable.
