China Southern and XiamenAir deploy 787-9 Dreamliners on scheduled flights to Singapore

China Southern deploys 787-9 on Tuesday flights to Singapore

China Southern has deployed its 787-9 Dreamliner jet on its Tuesday scheduled flights to Singapore from Guangzhou since 13 November 2020.

According to updated schedules, China Southern 787-9 flight CZ3039 departs from Guangzhou for Singapore on Tuesdays at 12.30 pm, touches down in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 at 4.45 pm before leaving Singapore for Guangzhou at 5.50 pm and touching down in Guangzhou at 9.55 pm under flight CZ3040.

The 787-9 of China Southern is one of 20 787-9 Dreamliners that has previously been deployed on international routes such as from to Moscow from Wuhan, from Guangzhou to Los Angeles and major domestic routes such as from Guangzhou to Beijing and Urumqi.

XiamenAir deploys 787-9 of different livery designs on route to Singapore

Recently in the pandemic, Chinese airlines have deployed gigantic aircraft of various livery designs on international routes to Southeast Asia despite dwindling numbers of commercial travellers. The other example is XiamenAir, which has deployed its 787-9s on such diverse routes as from Xiamen to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur from Xiamen and from Fuzhou to Jakarta and Narita. 


On 20 and 23 January 2021, the UN team livery aircraft of XiamenAir was seen operating scheduled flights between Singapore and Xiamen. On other Wednesdays and Saturdays with the exception on 6 February 2021, 787-9 in standard XiamenAir livery operates the scheduled flights.

Juneyao Air deploys contemporary A320 on Wuxi - Singapore route


Juneyao Air has deployed its A320 showing the words "JUNEYAO AIR" on its Wuxi=Singapore route since 25 January 2021 (see above). Its inaugural flight from Wuxi to Singapore on 11 January 2021 used the older A320 aircraft showing the words "JUNEYAO AIRLINES" (see below).
